I'm pro law, but I really wish they would focus on the "serve" part of protect and serve.
You don't hate cops that are on a power trip enough. My guess is that these two cops have a vendetta against the world and are taking out their fat aggression on someone else's rights.

There are videos all over YT of "1st amendment auditors" . These people just go around filming from public locations and hope the popo stop them. Cop asks what are they doing, what's your name, can see some ID. Usual answer is I don't have to answer questions. Cop proceeds and keeps pushing to which the person will state "what reasonable and articulable do you have that I committed a crime"?
Well.. the reason they ask that is because of Terry v Ohio. But many of those folks do not accept an answer that satisfies it. That’s what gets them in trouble. Per the case, and the supremes ruling, reasonable suspicion is a pretty low bar. For example I’ve seen some balk at “you fit the description of someone..”. That is unfortunately reasonable suspicion. Even if it’s complete BS. But it cannot be vague or a hunch.
But at the same time the cops sometimes frick up and equate reasonable suspicion with probable cause and make stupid arrests.

Where do you see that?
Your number includes auto accidents and heart attacks while on duty. Mine is just deaths during things like traffic stops, attempted arrest, etc
