re: Why are there TV commercials for cotton?

Cotton, Inc. does a lot of marketing. The competition between cotton and synthetics is actually a pretty big deal in some circles. A lot of different markets feed off the cotton industry.... Or at least that's what they tell me at all these meetings I go to during the winter and get free pens and calenders and knives and shite.
