Same here. They can be very protective of the owners, but they are great dogs.

We have a CC puppy I guess about three months old. He is so far an excellent dog. He is clumsy and goofy. Somewhat retarded but smart if that makes sense. I had two boxers that were like that, smart but acted like the Jerry's kids of the dog world, difficult to work with. Hardheaded would be another word for it.

I hear ya, but what if Napoleon lived in a shitty little apartment with no yard, lived alone and the dog had to stay in said apartment all day whilst Napoleon was working at a crappy 9-5 job all day (not saying that he does, I don't know him) and the other poster has a huge house in the country with a couple other dogs and acres of land and is at home most of the time. I'm just looking out for the pup's best interests.

Thanks, I read that. Just because it got out of the yard doesn't mean the owner is shitty. Maybe the owner let it out to poop and the thing took off without a collar. Your wife needs to make some flyers, baw.

So the owner just gave up looking? In the words if Billy Madison, "you get your arse out there, and find that fricking dog."

I agree, that's why OP's wife should get her arse out there and put up some fliers. Don't just give the dog away without trying to track down the owner.

How about I give you my wife's number and you can call her and tell her that, so she can bitch to you also about taking care of this dog. Or better yet, you can go pick it up and take care of it until you find the owner or another home for it . I'm with you bro, if I was home I'd keep it in our backyard with the other dogs until I found the owner for at least a week . I don't care what the vet said. But I agree with her that people who don't put collars with tags on their dogs obviously don't take good care of their pets. You don't want to lose your dog? Put a fricking tag on them or chip them!

No she shouldn't. Now the dogs owner should do that, but not the person who found the dog.

I think that's the owners responsibility to put out fliers. We've put it up on here and Facebook. What are you, a fricking Democratic?

BTW, if you told my wife that she "needs to get her arse out there and put up some fliers", she'd tell you to go frick yourself.

Read the other thread & thought Nap was the right guy for the pup. He's a good guy.

Always giving free advise about AC units & appliances.

ETA: Pretty sure he's a business owner.

Would think he has a yard (home owner).

If there are going to be other options, add me to the list! I kid, check out Nap's pet housing situation & make him happy if he qualifies!
