2006. I had been unemployed for ten months. Had two kids...a senior in high school and a freshman in college. I finally found a job with meager pay. I drove 45 miles twice a week so we could have some money for Christmas. Yes...there were homeless, drug addicts, etc. there too. But...there is a need for plasma...and me being able to sell mine was a blessing. It got me through a very rough time.
