Most states do not allow the purchase of gift cards with SNAP benefits bc the items have to be rung up as FOOD. Of course, if you know someone who will do this great, but it’s against the law.

You can transfer TANF funds onto a gift card in most states but not SNAP. Sorry you are misinformed

I had an idea I presented earlier.

Create an EBT only store with no brands just raw food. It could be run like an ABC store with limited hours and conveniences.


Another idea is to strip down the food items eligible to be purchased to just raw foods and no prepackaged foods or drinks. Even no bottled water.
