How can a lawyer get it reduced or dismissed?

Calibration records of radar gun may be out of date, cop might not show up to court, ADA or cop may be in good mood that day and change it to a non moving violation, you could request a jury trial and the judge will just through it out cause that waste of states resources.

Plenty of ways. Speeding ticket is just a revenue source for the parish. They count on people just paying the fine and moving on.

I got one from a trooper on I-12 in St. Tammany - was doing 92 in a 70, but he let me lide with 90. It's $231 and change - $225 if paid in cash in person. 15 mph over was around $25 cheaper.
