Smithville was bad. Saw the results soon after. My family farm was a few miles south.
I'll suggest the 1908 tornado in Purvis, MS. Wiped out the town, 143 total deaths on the track. But most importantly, the school mascot for the Purvis schools, to this day, is the Tornadoes.

I think the Joplin was the worst due to it crawling at 5mph. The longer they linger the greater the damage.
A direct answer to the question is no structure is going to last against a F5. I'm always amazed what cars look like after they have been through one. They look not bent but shredded.
