re: What would you do if a bully chased your son inside your home?

First….yeah I always have my families back ESPECIALLY if the little effer is trying to do my family harm on my front porch.

BUT secondly…I’m also teaching my kid how to handle a bully themselves.

My son is 22 now. He has always been a small guy. About 5 ft 8 130 lbs soaking wet now. When he was 5 and going into elementary school I gave him this lesson.

Told him that in life you will inevitably get bullied by someone. If someone is messing with you tell them to stop. If they don’t stop then just walk away. You’re not being a wuss. There is nothing wrong with walking away from a bad situation. NOW..if you have asked said bully to stop and have tried to do the right thing and just walk away and he follows you and continues to bully you..then you don’t say anything else. You just punch him straight on the tip of his nose. Decent chance you drop him right there but if you don’t then you at least blur his vision temporarily. Either way once you hit him you keep hitting him and you don’t stop hitting him until a teacher or someone pulls you off of him. Now did warn him that most bullies are really just wussies themselves and if he did this the bully would never mess with him again. However there is the 1 and 10 chance the bully really is a badass and even though you hit him he may still beat your arse. That’s ok though. As long as you don’t stop trying to hit him even if he wins the fight it won’t have been an easy win and he will move in to bullying someone else who doesn’t hit back.

Son never got bullied because it turns out he was a mean as shite wirey little fricker that actually liked to fight but that’s a story for another day.
