Mine is around 145/68 and I'm only 22. Not overweight and exercise regularly. I do eat a shite-ton of subway though which is full of sodium and stress/anxiety problems. I probably need to go see a doc

First, make sure you take it 2 or 3 times, and average it out. Sometimes, just taking the BP makes it spike, but the 2nd and 3rd time it averages out.

Second, don't just trust those machines at the drug store.

Third, take it daily at different times, and not right after using tobacco.

Fourth, bump up your running a bit, and try sprint, jog, sprint, jog, etc. when you run, to make your heart work differently. I would bet your pressure will start normalize after a month or so.

P.S. - Your BP isn't that bad in the big picture, but for your age, it's better to get it under control now.

And none of what I'm telling you is medical advice. I'm not a doctor.

Is it selfish of me to ask how you're faring with all the LP flooding, and volunteering to help you if you need anything.

Sweating during the Summer when you run will start flushing out sodium, and will probably help too.

Thanks guys will do. I really think fast food is the biggest contributor in my case. I eat it for lunch daily and it's a large amount of food I'm stuffing down my throat.

Do you have any recommendations on a good one?

Wrist monitors tend to be inconsistent and inaccurate. Arm cuff machines or aneroid self-test kits are much preferred.

108 over 68 the last time they started a stress test on me a few months ago. A couple min after it was over, I was back to 110 over 72.

At my age I'd say that's pretty good.
