Which university would that be? and define best? Wondering if you are a graduate of this BEST university because it should be EFFECT, not affect.

I thought it was a messican thing. I guess it happens everywhere. And by everywhere, I mean Walmart.

I don't live in La, but I'd say just the general ugliness of the state. Not really any pretty landscapes and most of the towns look poor and depressing. There are a few diamonds in the rough but mostly an unsightly state altogether

He used the correct word. You, on the other hand, did not.

Picking just one thing is hard.
It's a tossup between "culture" and politics.

The high level of socialism that creates and perpetuates a large and growing population who have no incentive to be productive or starve.

Louisiana has the worst drivers I've experienced.
Absolutely no concept of how to merge and the left lane cruisers that choke traffic flow have a special place in hell.

I've lived in 6 states and driven through many major cities and Louisiana easily has the worst drivers.

And for all the driving while on cell phone idiots out there that also cause major traffic....a big F-you to all of you. Put your damn cell phones down when driving.

No real beach is definitely a negative.
I hate how out of touch state leaders are with the issues of the defining city in the state.

Effect is a noun, while affect is a verb. He used it as a verb, so it should be affect. Effect can be used as a verb, but in this case, I'm pretty sure affect is correct.
