I’ll have to see if I can find the manufactured date again, but for the last 10 years by grandpa’s old deep freeze has been in its new home in my basement. He bought it new I think in the late 80s/early 90s. I remember their laundry room with the water heater and washer and dryer right when you walked in and a couple of chest freezers for all his gardening right past that.

Some friends of mine got a long stainless chest freezer from when Tulane Stadium was being demo’ed. It has a Dixie logo on it. The lids are horizontal on top and slide back to open. They’ve had to repower it but it’s great to look at.

ETA: it was originally at a concession stand in the stadium
