re: What do you do when people call you by the wrong name?

My name is reversible - more people think my last name is my first name than vice versa. I don't correct them and answer to both.

Scared the shite out of me with the Texas bar. At the time, you'd call in to see "if your name was on the list" meaning you passed the bar exam.

I called, they said "not on the list." Then I asked what "last name" they used and they checked under my first name. When corrected, found out I passed. It was a bad two minutes though.
