I am retiring in a couple of months at 62. I have a state pension, my wife has one also. I will draw my SS, and my company will buy out my book and pay me for 10 years. Will access SEPP in 10 years. I leased a lot by the year with supplied utilities and no lot upkeep for my RV on a lake in central La. Have home on 10&1/2 ac with a 1 1/2 ac pond on it. Will split time fishing, cutting grass(dammit), and duck hunting at Pecan Island. All God willing.

Also will help a friend part-time in his gun shop.

1. We can use the truck as a means to get around while the 5th wheel is set up back at the campground. When it's time to go get groceries or take the grandkids to the movies or something, we can just drive the truck. 2. Having a toy hauler 5th wheel will, in addition to making it easy to haul my bike, will also allow me to have a garage to park it in instead of it being out in the elements all the time.
Good points. We wanted the more comfortable bed and quicker set up though. We can park at Walmart and go grocer shopping. The trailer will be enclosed for the bike and other stuff we would have. I ride my bike 90% of the time anyway so I am used to packing groceries on it.
