This was one of the most corrupt investigations ever done by a PD. Pinning this on a bunch of kids during the satanic panic days.

Proving their innocence made them famous and set them up for success they would have never achieved without going to prison. Of course the three will continue to try to keep the story going.

not conflicting stories from a child to a detective and witnesses who didn’t like him

At the trial, Echols claimed not to know who Allister Crowley was - before prosecutors whipped out his diary in which he praises Crowley and mentions Crowley's views on human sacrifice.
'Damian' is also not his real name. He said he changed his name because of Father Damian and the lepers, but numerous kids at his school said he told them it was because of Damian from the Omen movies.

That’s your evidence?

You know real evidences

This subject fascinates me ever since the first Paradise Lost documentary. I think the stepfathers had something to do with it. Terry Hobbs is a real piece of work.

All im saying is they were definately telling kids they did it to enhance their evil street cred. And that was not smart.

Not to mention blatant judicial misconduct by David Burnett.

Kids at that softball game were afraid to get nachos and pop rocks. There is a considerable amount of evil to be found hanging out at softball games.

To this day, they are convicted killers. They didn't get exonerated or pardoned. They signed an admission of guilt before being released.
No idea if they did it or not but this statement is not true. The Alford plea is not an admission of guilt and none of them signed an admission of guilt as a condition for being released.

Why did the state of Arkansas let those child killers out?

Facts: the DNA evidence still says terry hobbs and someone else were involved with this. Zero DNA found from the 3 teens at the crime scene.

They are currently convicted murderers. Better?

It actually is according to the letter of the law. You do plead guilty when taking an Alford plea, are still convicted of a crime in the eyes of the law, and are treated as guilty just as if you were found guilty by a jury.

DNA evidence at the scene was not found to include any from Echols or his co-defendants.
Do you disagree with the DNA evidence?

How about their multiple confessions? Does that count for anything?

so 3 teenagers tied up 3 second graders and killed them and left zero evidence on the victims or at the crime scene? Sorry, none of that adds up. You have to look at the DNA evidence.

Not everyone leaves DNA. As any detective.
But some adults killed the kids and left only a hair or two?
ETA: the bodies had been moved and sunken in water in a ditch anyway. They had to drain the ditch to get the bodies.
