The only gift we received that wasn’t on our registry was a food vacuum sealer. I fricking love that thing and used it last night.

I’m not sure why you’re so upset with helping a young couple get started. I’m sure you’ll indulge in the free food and open bar regardless.

Yes. I remember going to Dillard’s to choose china and crystal, lol. Then guests could purchase a piece and we’d get a card unless they chose to take the item to the wedding to give. Then you could trade it all back in for whatever sum to exchange it all. My grandmother told me to register for a good stainless steel vs silver bc more useful. Now we all have china and other stuff our kids don’t want or need. I’ve also inherited some.
