I would argue that you are significantly more likely to miss work due to CDC protocols for close contact. The virus itself...not so much unless you have it and are hospitalized. Even so, most hospitalizations (up to this point) have largely been by people no longer in the workforce.

None of this (the protocol, masks, lockdowns, worker’s compensation, mandated vaccinations, childhood Covid vaccinations, disability etc.) makes sense to me.
