i've been on it when it moved like that. it was still really shallow in some parts....like rub your arse on the bottom shallow. the deepest parts on the tiki tubing tract of the river are along the shore on the curves. when my friends and I helped that person out that's where she was. right up against the bank and i'm 6'3 or so...when i went under a few feet to get her leg out i figured I'd sink a couple feet and be on the bottom. Nope. I bet the water right there was at least 12 feet deep.

I thought everyone south of Clinton said A-meet.

My half brother grew up in A-mit county and our father lives on the A-meet river. Maybe where the Co-mit/Co-meet ties in the name changes.

It has a few spots that you will drag the bottom and a few spots that are 10 feet or deeper. It's an easy day unless you can't handle your drinks or you're seriously loaded on drugs.
