Has anyone bartered vehicles on craigslist?
I'm in talks with someone about trading my Yamaha Virago for an SUV and I'm trying to figure out how the process is done.
Am I about to have to hack my way through a jungle of red tape?

Do you both have clear titles?
If so you simply both sign the back and present to the other.
If both titles are not free and clear things just got almost unpossible.

We don't need to do anything with the dmv or a notary?
