If you're going to give advice, at least give good advice.
Toyota and Honda CVTs are extremely reliable. Toyotas are made by Aisin I think, and Honda makes their own in house. Not all CVTs are created the same: see Jatcos in Nissans which do not have the reliability of Toyota and Honda units.
To OP, Rav 4s are incredibly reliable and a solid choice.

We had one for years and it was passed down to teenagers. I'm glad that car couldn't talk.

Consumer Reports say that Toyota and Honda are the most reliable cars along with their premium models Lexus and Acura.
