That's what i think. Its not recommended, after looking it up, but i think I'd still go for it anyway.
You wouldn't want to be in the overpass if the tornado hit it directly and the winds got trapped in those areas up top of the concrete ramp, but between a car and a ditch if one was inbound, that would be by choice.

I mean, in theory it seems like an awesome spot. You sure about that?
Yeah, TWC did a show on weather myths a while back and debunked it. They said it's better to lie in a ditch or even flat on the ground. Of course that's not a great option either, but sometimes you're just SOL.

Think about it, If you are huddled up in the recesses of an over pass and the tornado passes either side of it and starts slinging cars around, you are sitting pretty. I don't see a downside unless the vortex goes directly over the overpass.

The Eastland cell can't seem to make up it's mind.

We're between cells....30 minutes north just across the Red River and about 60 minutes south near Graham, Texas...watching the two cells move east, northeast

Even if it does go directly over .... if I'm up in the corner in a crevice .... how is the wind really going to get to me?

North one has a tornado, south cell does not but is cycling.

Gets trapped in the upper recesses and swirls your arse right out.

Coming on the scanner every few minutes with another totally destroyed house they've found.

A large tornado in Colorado sounds like bad news. They are not used to that.

Crazy weather day in CO.
Rain, sleet, hail, tornado warnings and snow, yes snow this afternoon. Currently 36 degrees.
Springtime in the Rockies.

Gene Yates and Erik Fox are both spotted up right by a low hanging wall cloud. Hard to tell if it's on the ground because of the treeline, but it's massive.

Definite wedge on the ground.

Is it time to start paying attention to the weather in Frisco yet?
Posted on 5/9/15 at 7:21 pm to Jim Rockford
Are they Weather Channel personnel?

It has to cross the whole Metroplex before it gets to Frisco.
