but they have a big steamer in the back and they will steam for free anyone that wants them to.

Must be a relatively new thing, because when I worked there, we certainly didn't do that.

All EBT purchases were of day old (at least) products.

Goo fish, buffalo fish, gar fillets... Tonys is the tits. I usually get a plate lunch from Tonys and then hit up Krispy Kreme right down the street for some hot glazed straight from the conveyor belt

Gotta hit up B&C in Vacherie for the choupique poboy though

Best boiled crabs are at Duckroost in St. Amant

not happy about it but you cannot make a business stop offering a service to its customers for free even if it looks shady as frick.

Why does it bother someone if people use their cards for hot food or if someone cooks it for them after buying it ? I'm not talking about a sit down restaurant. And why do people have a problem with people using an EBT card to buy boiled crawfish?

Had some from Tony's last weekend. Heaviest crabs for the size that I've had in a long time.

Because boiled crawfish is fricking expensive food to buy with taxpayer money because you supposedly need assistance to afford groceries.

If you need food stamps to buy groceries, then you shouldn't be wasting it on delicacy foods. If you can afford delicacies, then you can afford to buy your own groceries.

Right now $5.69 a pound...average adult eats 3-5 pounds of crawfish in a sitting, so you're talking about someone who's too broke to buy their own groceries spending $20-30 of taxpayer assistance on ONE meal. That same $20-30 could've bought enough groceries to make 10 meals.
