Nola levees won’t fail. Path of storm is totally different from Katrina. Not nearly as much surge …. However, the lower levees in Plaquemines Parish will be overtopped almost immediately. That’s where the story will be regarding levee failures. Unfortunately, Terrebonne and Lafourche will be flattened from wind but that’s not as good of a story like a breached levee (even though the levees are only protecting cows at the moment).
