Well, I do work in the arm of the business that's pretty heavy into oil & gas. That should be a clue.

We don't get bonuses until Feb when year is closed out and we know exactly what we made

I'm excited we get a merit bonus this year. Will be on our next paycheck (which is Christmas Day). No idea how much it will be for.


When we have gotten merit bonuses years ago it was usually about the same as one paycheck. Hoping that will be the case this time. Bonuses for nurses now don't happen often.

Even with o/g prices being what they are I was able to bill our clients for a lot of hours this year. They kept saying they needed to cut some of those projects but haven't yet.

i would imagine that the end of most months is a busy time for showing residential spaces
