Honey Badger doesn't like this guy so he's got a rep.

Didn't he call him a coward?

"A former high school football star in the New Orleans area, Hayes had worked security for the Saints while Smith played for the team."

This Hayes guy seems somewhat familiar with the legal system judging by persuing charges after his pops was murdered. He's going to lawyer up, claim he felt threatened for his life by Smith. Smith may or may not have a firearm on him or in his vehicle. I don't think this is an open and close case

It is not hard at all to imagine that Smith might have had a gun in the vehicle. A wealthy guy like that riding in that kind of vehicle in New Orleans might very well have a piece in the car. I know I would.

However, the wife is alive and her testimony will carry the day.

There has got to be more to this than just a case of road rage. Who is going to kill a man over a car accident? It doesn't make sense.

the guys dad was killed by the cops because he was doing crazy shite. not much of a stretch that the son is crazy too.

Kinda ironic that the killer filed suit claiming that the police should have used non-lethal force, specifically stating a stun-gun. Yet, used a gun and killed a man when the situation was in no-way life threatening.

I believe the suspect must have thought the officer was in the car, or he thought the car was his.

What cop do you know is rolling in a new G63?

I do not believe one life matters over the countless others

I get where you are coming from, but you are not headed to the right place. Smith's killing is not MORE sad than others, but it's not LESS sad either. If you truly feel remorse for the countless others as you claim, then you should feel remorse for Smith.

And if you really want to break down, we do lose more. Not from the value of the person themselves, but look at what Smith contributes to his; family, community, economy, compared to what most young murdered men contribute.
