I am almost 70 years old. I spent my first 30 years in Baton Rouge. I lived thru the hurricanes/floods of the 50's, 60's and 70's. I have relatives still living throughout southeast LA.
None of my relatives have ever qualified for federal assistance. Ever.
Maybe their jobs disqualified them. We could never get a truthful answer.
Maybe Obama's 16 page anti discrimination memo will mean that my relatives that got flooded will finally get some help this time.
Anti discrimination should work both ways.

Where did you get the ideas that Cajuns are not white? You are confusing us with the black French who are locally known as Creoles(good folks). My ancestors came from Acadia(now Nova Scotia) by way of France. Now back to topic. This bastard can not leave the golf course and he lectures our people/state? What gets me is the memo was released on Tuesday to state and local officials. If JBE wasn't so far up Obamas arse he should have printed out that document, told Obama to STFU, stay out of state and local business, then tear that race baiting shite in half. The only thing we want to hear from the Feds is that we expect monetary help that is needed and always collected.
