Thanks!! I forgot about free fall. I was thinking huge gravity well but huge distance.

one thing you would most certainly feel is being crushed into an infinitesimally small speck. i loved interstellar but what happened to coop at gargantua was silly. the only way that could have been plausible is if the bulk beings "transformed" him into a non-spatial entity. otherwise, he would have become one with the universe.
