There are so many galactic clusters filled with so many galaxies filled with so many stars, many of which may possibly have life supporting planets orbiting them, with these statistics there is a high likelihood, neigh it is almost impossible that there wouldn't be at least one alien civilization that doesn't give two Shits what you think is arrogant.

From what I have read, taking into account our current communication capabilities, once our signals reaches a certain point, it fades into the background noise of the universe. Basically, it would be like walking out your front door, screaming, and hoping someone in Paris hears you. OP, there are some very plausible theories on life, and some smarter than I am have broken the advancement of civilization into subgroups. And to nutshell it, if we were to contact an advanced people, they would drain our resources like we did the Native American's. So it might be for the best that we haven't heard from anyone.

They might not drain our resources, they could think of us like park animals or some shite.

George de Mestral and Narinder Singh Kapany would probably be either really pissed at you for saying this, or think shite he knows to much.
Roswell was July 1947, For some reason huge technological leaps in the decade following 1947.
1948 George de Mestral invented Velcro
1954 Narinder Singh Kapany first published article on optical fibers.
1948 Bell labs produced the first transistor.
In 1947, Willis E. Lamb and R. C. Retherford of Bell Labs found apparent stimulated emission in hydrogen spectra and effected the first demonstration of stimulated emission which led to the laser.
1949, German engineer Werner Jacobi filed a patent for an integrated-circuit-like semiconductor amplifying device showing five transistors on a common substrate in a 3-stage amplifier arrangement

Then you have to think about the Great Filter theory, and take into account we might be the most advanced civilization in the universe. Very interesting topic, and one I could read about all night.

If I was the farmer that found that spacecraft on my property, no one would know about it until I died. I would spend my whole life, trying to make shite out of it and setting up an uncoverupable release of information for when I died.

cool that still doesn't prove the way we're looking for life is the right way. until it's proven that there's life outside of this planet like what we have here, the way we're looking for life could be wrong. all we have to work with is our human knowledge aka jack shite, and it would appear you're putting too much faith into our that knowledge.

science used to believe life jumped out of inanimate objects. like dung beetles out of dung

they have since eliminated that theory, but that doesn't mean outside of earth that theory is wrong. everything is possible when it comes to life not as we know it. again our human knowledge only goes so far.
