Lionel Trains America 250 Legacy Train
Lionel went all out for our 250th birthday!
The entire O-gauge “America 250 Freedom Train” is 43’ long, and has 27 passenger/sleeper/coach/exhibit cars pulled by a T-1 (4-8-4) wearing a livery similar to our new Air Force One.
$8500 or $10,300 if you double head it.

I have my dad’s Lionel train that he got in the 50s for Christmas. It still runs like a champ.

Really cool, but a little too rich for my blood.
I did preorder the Georgia 250th boxcar. My parents got me the 1976 one because I was a bicentennial baby. Hopefully they are both something I can pass down to my son one day.
