In the 70’s an executive of our company requested that I put his son on an offshore crew for the summer. I did and the shite started.
The kid would not take a shower and stunk. After a few days of this. The crew put him in the shower and washed and scrubbed him with rig wash and deck brushes.Took dirt, skin and meat off of him. He didn’t stink after that and learned at 20 years old to bathe daily.
His Dad laughed and thanked everyone for doing something he had failed at.
