WBRZ in Feb.
I'm guessing this was that monstrosity John Fore was building overlooking the river.
There's still 100's of derelict tubes and trash from his home littering the Amite river from the flood. I can't imagine the amount of dangerous debris in that river after the flood and how many injuries people will sustain when they open the tubing again this summer.

Serious question
We were trying to anchor a boat in the mouth of the tickfaw, and my buddy said its nothing but a giant mud flat now since the flood washed out a lot of debris that the anchor used to get caught up on. Is that incorrect, or is it possible the flood washed out a bunch of those hangups that were just under the surface?

I would guess it deposited a bunch of mud and loose sediment on top of the original floor. So now its all mushy and anchor cant grab. As far as in the river, usually floods or heavy rains leave a bunch of debris, trees, etc in the river.

I'm surprised they let you even ride in a boat.
Do you know how a current works?
Did you see what happened to ENTIRE buildings in Japan during the tsunami?

When they were completely swept off their foundation and left nothing but flat ground? Yes, saw that. Same concept? More water forcefully pushing everything out until the force is no longer present?
But don't let any of this stop you from trying to sound like a badass on the internet
