That's a good question. Without giving it much thought, I think 185ers could chop him down with leg kicks.

ETA: Heath Herring (6'4" 250) fought a guy named Giant Silva (380ish, 7'2"). He played it very safe.

those are some big arse legs though, and like I said...andre the giant without any mobility issues, back issues, medical problems of any kind

how many leg kicks would it take? and how many could they get on him before he grabbed them by the hair, lifted them up and just started beating them?

I took a blindside spear once from a d3 college football player during a game of recreational football

my body momentarily just turned to jello, like my body was flailing. it felt just like it looks on tv

that's not exactly a 5'7"-6 ft 185 lbs guy though that's a defensive end in the nfl or a really large pro wrestler. also, at 7'2" is 380 lbs really that thick...andre the giant was 7 ft before all of his surgeries and he was freaking thick. god only knows how much weight he was carrying

it just stood out to me that hulk Hogan said he was scared shitless of andre the giant because hulk Hogan was close to 6'8" and well over 300 lbs and I imagine back in those days, wrestlers probably got the shite kicked out of them for real by guys training or sometimes even in the ring while they were working their way up.

I don't like wrestling, but i'll listen to their stories all day long.

Norris was outclassed by Lee. Which is no shame, so was everyone else.

Only a handful of the UFC 185ers are under 6ft. Let's say the average 185er is 6'1" 200lb on fight night. They can kick the frick out of your legs. They would have to strike and GTF away, and avoid catching one of those basketball fists.

Andre was before my time, but I can't imagine a 7'4" 500+lb dude being that agile.

I thought that went without saying.

if I could get a guarantee that I wouldn't need to go to the hospital, the morgue or be deformed and that he wouldn't keep hitting me because he has the emotional maturity of a 12 year old...i'd let Tyson crack me for a take home of $50k...I would pay taxes on it if I could watch Tyson punch the person at the IRS who handled my shite

as a young man he was more fit though...and I wouldn't exactly be excited about going to the ground with him either. wrestling may be fake, but I'm pretty sure you learn how to do the actual submission moves...with his strength not holding back, it's not that he could kill you, but more like he would kill you. there would have to be an intimidation/fear factor. if you wouldn't be scared to fight him, you're fricking crazy which I imagine a lot of professional fighters are

all of these dudes are big also, you would have to get reeeeally far away to be out of his reach

wilt chamberlain is another guy. he was a bad motherfricker. he had retard strength. imagine if he trained as a fighter.

If you like freakshow fights, go check out Heath Herring vs Giant Silva and Fedor Emelianenko vs Zuluzinho.

If you like watching tall fighters, check out Semmy Schilt - 6'11" 285lbs. One of the greatest kickboxers of all time. His jab was terrifying. LINK

not really into freak show fights but with the weight and height difference in this hypothetical, you wonder what is truly an insurmountable advantage.

like I said, I don't know and i'm probably wrong, but he's so god damn big I can just see an awesome and fairly large 6 ft-ish fighter wailing on him and andre just standing there like it was annoying i'm sure that's not the case.

I just watched this...and herring did exactly what you said, kick and run

it took a lot of kicks and herring actually went down from the kick that brought down silva...silva doesn't look like a skilled fighter, herring looks like a bad motherfricker, but it looks to me like herring was probably lucky he won that fight after falling down from the kick and having that big arse dude on top of him.

I wouldn't go this far but they were friends and Norris trained with him, and vice versa, for a reason

Heath was a good fighter.

If you want to watch a mauling, watch Herring vs Fedor. One of my favorite fights of all time. No one knew who Fedor was yet. Heath had just fought for the heavyweight title and people were expecting him to challenge for the title again. Thought Fedor was a stepping stone.
