I cant believe how much the Brembo setup runs. Crazy money. Would be nice if I had an S7 or S8 but not for my wife's daily driver.

If you had a S7 or S8 you wouldn't need to upgrade the brakes for better performance.
Every BMW, Mercedes and Audi I've had has had an issue with brake dust. It's just in the pad material. Swapping the pads for a different compound would be the easiest and cheapest.
Other option is darker wheels to hide the dust.

EBC is a pretty common brand for upgrading your OEM brakepads. Greenstuff or Redstuff seem to be the most popular ones.
My mechanic says the sport rotors don't do more for performance but I, like most dudes, like the look of the slotted and drilled rotors. They're just cooler than stock.

Exactly. I have an SQ5 and the only change I'm making is to go to ceramic pads.
