If there’s room I’d be fine with the person in front of my reclining but when my knees are already jammed into the back of their seat and they keep slamming their back into the seat to get it to recline I get a little pissed off. If you want to recline do the polite thing and look behind you and ask.

One of the few reasonable responses. If the person behind me is ok with it I do but if they aren't I won't.

Your lucky they don’t provide you with a harness and sling for a seat like some military aircraft.
Now how about these prototype seats?
You are essentially standing and riding a bicycle. I doubt you can recline in those.
