Question for OT docs

I have a relative who's been having trouble urinating. One of the things they want to do is run a camera up in there and check things out
However, they're waiting a month to do it. Why so long? If something is wrong in there, seems like you'd want to find out ASAP.

Could be a urethral stricture forming. Have they had chlamydia?

Maybe scheduling for the doc's procedure day is that far out. Maybe wanting to finish a course of AB's before the procedure.
