Most horse tracks are still running sans live attendance. In most states you can bet online through internet accounts. Completely legal and you don't have to jump through any hoops to deposit/collect, unlike some of the sports betting services. TVG, Xpressbet, Twinspires are three of the companies that offer this service. There are several others as well.

Apparently Will Rogers Downs had full fields yesterday.

LA Derby drew on overflow field of 16 for Saturday. I’m just sad I can’t wear my yellow hat.

I would love to bet on foreign races but their past performances are in formats I haven't figured out how to use, when they exist at all.

I didn’t actually watch any of it, but the horse people on Twitter were loving it. I bet they had a record day

My favorite small track ins Assiniboia Downs in Canada. The starting gate is in a grove of aspen trees.

Looks like we’ve got 4 tracks running today. Not bad for a Tuesday...

Xpressbet needs to change their picture. They still have Max up

We have a mare in our barn who used to run there.

I actually have a bet down in the third race at Fairmount Park. That one is somewhere in rural Illinois and the backstretch is next to a cornfield

There are a few nice pedigrees in that $3,200 claimer

The 3 horse, Almafuerte. If she goes off at even money I'll consider that a bonus. Seems like all my bets are the heavy chalk

ETA I look for a horse that has run within 4 weeks and twice in 8 weeks, finished within 4 lengths both times with a good speed figure each time, and is not running above its class. Pretty simple method, but it does well. Not a whole lot of action though.
