If I were you I’d get that booster as soon as you get over your bout. You don’t want to get it again, right?

Why get tested? What difference will the result make?

The vaccines do not produce antibodies for the upper respiratory system, IgA antibodies. Now your immunity will be as good as those of us who had covid

Fully vaxxed and boosted in mid Nov. Tested positive today. Runny nose and slight headache.

I am in the same boat as you. I started having a slight headache and a runny nose. I ate a burger and had no salt taste on my tongue. I could only taste certain aspects like ketchup. I checked my temperature. It was a little high at 99. I still had a Binax COVID test left over from my last scare, and I did the test. It was negative. I am not sure if I built up enough COVID yet in my system or the test is about as reliable as a take home pregnancy test.

Day 2: Test positive. Woke up to temp of 101. Still feel rocked. Possibly Omicron but there's no way to know without going to hospital. Feels like ibuprofen does a better job than acetaminophen.
Been up for the past few hours. Listening to a pod where the guy was saying he had a fever for 14 straight days. Praying I don't go through that.

Side note: haven't been sick/fever in 6 years or so. Usually my fevers break after 24hrs.
