I would not put it past someone who does meth to freak out about getting in trouble as the kid dies
I don't know much about drugs, but I had a cousin die from an overdose.
My aunt and uncle (who were also on drugs pretty bad) said that they tried to wake her up in the middle of the night and she wouldn't wake up. They called cops several hours later..after some "friends" came over to help and couldn't help.
Everyone has always believed that friends really came over to get the rest of the stash and hide evidence of drug use in the home.
Thankfully my cousin's kids were adopted by a nice family, as my cousin did not know who their fathers were because she slept around for drug money.
TLDR: Shite parents gonna be shite parents. We need to stop making it so easy for these people to reproduce. Cut those benefits.
Also, this poor kid will be in foster care now, and the main goal of DCFS is "reunification" so we'll all spend thousands of dollars helping this kid go back to this awful woman so she can neglect him some more. She's 21. She doesn't wanna be a parent, she wants to party. Tons of people would take that kid. I would. But no, the state will continue to believe biology means everything.
