Can I be an optimist and suggest these are just growing pains? With the internet and social media, there is so much more information as well as communication than ever before...by a wide margin. Yes I believe it’s true that there are way more people that are “radical” on both sides of the political aisle and on every issue. But is this just something that was inevitable with there being so much more access to information and an increase in ability to communicate with like minded (as well as not like minded) people? And that we will come out of it stronger and better off overall from having access to information and people interested in what’s going on in the world?

Social media needed to happen. Regular Joe posting on twitter is probably more reliable than the average CNN piece.

Prof. Edward Dutton: The Jolly Heretic

How Genetic Changes Explain Why the West is So Utterly Polarized

It is honestly just genetics and stability of the country. Maybe these extremes wouldn't be happening if we'd have wars in our country and people would be being killed off and what have you, but we don't.

The radicals are on the left, and have made certain there is no place for moderation or even discussion. The right represents all those who simply aren’t far left radicals, be they centrists, right leaning or far right. If you doubt that, just refer back to the VP debate last night, and the proof is right there. There’s no plan for the best of all Americans. It’s pure polarization and far left agenda driven, and it’s radical AF, which is why no sound American can have anything to do with it because it’s off the rails on the crazy train.
