pensacola builders

I remember them from the old WFL. Earl Campbell, and two of the Selmon brothers played for them.

they can't bring soil/clay (for foundations, flowerbeds, etc)
i know that Ft. Morgan does not allow it, but all around me are houses being built on compacted red dirt pads.

Perdido Key, or are you building across the bridge and telling everyone you live in Perdido Key?

across the bridge. i never mentioned perdido key. However, there is a move under way to incorporate a new city bounded by Blue Angel to the east, 98 to the north, and the water to the south. I'm not sure about the west boundary. the city name will be "Perdido."

Just sold our place in Lost Key. That place is an overcrowded, hoa, karen nightmare of a community and building 90+ more townhomes to add to the crowd!

i saw the wall of new construction when we were through there last weekend. that area is booming. at least there's a roundabout at Johnson Beach road now.

We're hoping to get closer to $300/ft
.

We won't be in that neighborhood!! We're thinking modest cottage at a modest cost. New homes in the neighborhood are selling for $250ish sq. ft., including 1 lot.

f you are right next to the Gulf, you might want to buy some tall arse stilts to build on.

we're a mile due north of the water. the soil is 100% sand that starts turning redish about 2 feet down. No one else is building on pilings, and many of the recently build homes are two story on slabs.

I’m not a builder but I live in Pensacola. ADoor built our home in 2021 and did a good job.
