I shouldn't insult your intelligence by pretending I think you're too dumb to understand the simple logic here, but I will spell it out anyway. First, sterilizing men is more impactful. A woman, no matter how big a whore, can only give birth once or twice in a given twelve month period. Your run-of-the-mill gangbanger or methhead who sprays guts with impunity can impregnate many dozens of women in that same timeframe. Second, the surgical option for sterilizing men is much more efficient than the option for women. Third, paying women to take birth control could be an option, but the type of people we would like to deter from reproducing cannot be relied upon to take birth control according to the manufacturer's instructions.

Would be a cute retort if I had said anywhere in my comment that women should be sterilized instead. The whole concept is absurd. The practical remedy is to remove gov't assistance.
