I hope you don't base them being great friends off the movie. Bradley was an advisor during filming so it's slanted a bit.

Bradley was hesitant and had no drive. A good example is letting the Krauts escape from the Falaise Pocket. He actually ordered Patton to stop short of closing it.

He was a plodder with no imagination.

No, I base that off things I’ve read about the two. Especially in the book dedicated to Eisenhower, Patton, and Bradley titled Brothers, Rivals, Victors.
