I beg to disagree. Establishing citizen ship and enabling it across all states was necessary. And codifying the Due Process argument of the Declaration of Independence in the Constitution was as well even if it has been weakened and finally destroyed.

Well the 14th created the citizenship problem we now have today. People coming here illegally with the expressed intent to give birth to a child that just because it was born here means it is a citizen. That’s wrong and that has been severely taken advantage of the last few decades.
