OT Golfers: Question regarding shipping clubs

Going to be in Las Vegas for July 4th weekend. We are wanting to golf while we are out there. Does anyone have experience shipping clubs through FedEx? If so... Should I ship then to the course or to my hotel? Do you think courses allow this? And would I ship them back in the same box they came in?
TIA
TIA

Fly with them and check them.

I feel like it would be easier and less hassle than to lug them around the airport. I'm flying out of Atlanta.

You think it would be easier and less hassle to bring your clubs to a FedEx place and have them delivered somewhere you won't be then trust whoever gets them or keep them for you then while on vacation find another FedEx and ship them home then have to retrieve them later?
I'd send them to a FedEx store for pickup if you're going to do all that. Then just pick them up in Vegas.

The commercials. I looked into it. Said frick it. I gotta drive to the fed ex joint, drop them off, send them while I'm there back to where I'm goin.....blah blah blah.
Easier and cost is the same to check'em.

You're clearly an idiot. The clubs have to get out there regardless. So weather you are paying fedex to ship your clubs or you are paying delta to ship your clubs they are still being transported.
A lot of people fedex their clubs on vacation.

So you asked for advice, but you're now pissed because your suggested course of action is just dumb?
If you already made up your mind, why did you even post this question?

To point out those who disagree are clearly idiots.

It's not difficult to check you golf clubs. The bags are extremely easy to roll and not heavy. The only time you will have to carry them is to the kiosk at the front of the airport and for baggage claim to your car. And it will most likely be cheaper...FedEx estimates $100 to ship clubs from Baton Rouge to Vegas. Just seems like a hassle to make an extra trip to fedex while you're on vacation.

I was asking if anyone had experience shipping clubs to golf courses.

Well that's dumb. If that's what you're dead-set on doing, then you should ask elsewhere.

I've never heard of anyone doing this. Ever. It seems like the least cost efficient most time consuming hassle ever. Do you FedEx your bags too?

I've heard of people doing it, but it just never made sense to me
Unless checking a 2nd bag costs a lot

I never said I was dead set on anything. I already experience checking golf clubs on the plane. So I don't need opinions on that. Just the fedex part.

I'm going with a group of 10 people. 5:5.

Although not quite as ideal, have you considered renting clubs at the course?
I wouldn't want to do that, but it's probably a little cheaper

Yes. So my thinking is that you bring your clubs in to fedex a day before you leave. Have them ship it to the course. Course receives them and hold them for you. You play then ship them back to your house from the course.
