is it too hot to put some sort of pre-emergent or weed preventer(specifically Dallas grass,) in the soil prior to laying St. Augustine sod? it's been in the 90s for a few days and forecast to continue to be, if not, what would you recommend?

Might want to try the outdoor board. They're pretty knowledgeable about these things.
