Me and my gf were walking our dogs back from brunch. He just started panting loud and woudln't stop. Stopped at this little waterfall thing to give him water and cool him down and he wouldn't even drink. I had to carry him the rest of the way back to my friends house. Stuck ice packs under his belly and on his neck as soon as I got back to my house but he still wouldn't stop panting and refusing water.
Of course....right before I get to vet he stops and starts acting like himself. They want to observe him for a few hours before I can take him home.

I think he will be ok. I just wanted the vet to take a look and make sure. Vet visits are free anyways with the pet plan I have.

Just fixed first drink of the day.
Home made mint julep with the finest hand-selected mint leaves, freshly harvested from the organic herb garden, still moist from the morning rain’s caress.
Then gently but firmly crushed with the smooth, stainless steel, rubber tipped muddler to expel the essential oils into the silky smooth, brown sugar simple syrup.
Hand-crushed, filtered ice crystals filling a chilled hi-ball glass carefully receiving the artfully measured bourbon followed by the mint simple syrup poured with anticipatory quivers.
Now, it’s time for #2.
