XY females

Not 100% female. Y defective or mutant androgen receptor.

With defective Y would require estrogen and progestin treatment to be more female looking and even then can’t develop eggs. Without treatment would be the close to androgynous with undeveloped breasts, uterus, no periods, but have a vulva. Also don’t think they produce any testosterone which wouldn’t be these boxers unless they are cheating with injections.

With defective androgen receptor the most female externally are the ones who can’t process any testosterone at all which then converts to estrogen and dominates full development (complete insensitivity). They also have low progesterone levels. Their bodies develop into full figure feminine form and usually discovered when doctor is trying to find out why menstruation hasn’t started as a teenager. They don’t have a uterus. They could produce testosterone at levels of men but body can do nothing with it. These could fit your scenario, but I may be going out on a whim here - neither of these boxers look fully developed.

Others are just under masculinized males to various degrees including genitalia requiring additional hormones for development to masculinize more. Some may be the true “assigned” an incorrect sex at birth with so little development at the time, but they would still be males needing treatment. I don’t think the Olympics or sports should bend for those not getting the correct treatment to be who they are meant to be and likely getting the opposite treatment. For those whose parents or doctors made wrong choice for them after birth they need to direct their anger at them and not at females in sporting events.

Intersex of any type represents an estimated 0.018% of births.

By the way this was the complete androgen insensitivity patient in the House MD episode where I got most of my training on subject.

People were quick to think this was just a dude born a dude and said, "hey I'm a chick" and now boxing with chicks.

That's not the case.

I read articles where the a boxing rep said they tested as XY.

Is it possible some doctor or parent forced being a female on these boxers due to androgen insensitivity not developing a penis at birth (or much of one)? Sure but they are trans and shouldn’t be in women sports.
