At some point there were 19 officers in the hallway. If he wounded two, that leaves 17 more to do the job. Couldn’t get it done.
Then DPS tried to rationalize the decision by saying they saved the rest of the school from being slaughtered— as there were still children at risk in the classrooms with the shooter. Maddening.
