They're not hitting that goal.

Just turn Musk loose on it and he'll have a combination scientific station and resort built quickly.

No.

No it isn’t. Look it up for yourself. Musk poured everything he had into SpaceX. And after the first three failed launches, SpaceX, Tesla, and Musk himself were all on the edge of bankruptcy.

Musk was reportedly "waking from nightmares, screaming and in physical pain" because of the stress.

The fourth launch worked and NASA gave them a 1.8 billion dollar contract, which was what kept them alive.

So please tell me how does that reality mix with “blue bloods trying to keep it down.”

You’re an idiot. SpaceX is making space flight MUCH cheaper for the taxpayer.

Rich words from someone who lacks the reading ability to follow a conversation. I’ve always been a huge SpaceX supporter and excited about what they are pulling off.

The comment chain was from someone who said that the “blue bloods” are trying to hold them back, when the reality is empirically false. NASA floods them with money, and has almost given up most of their own rocket design for many of their projects.

Work on your sentence structure then.

Spinning that station would provide gravity which the human body needs.

Saw some interesting designs as to how it can be built a piece at a time starting with one axis with modules on the ends like a dumbbell.

I suspect that we could go to the moon very quickly if SpaceX lofted the Moon lander and support materials piecemeal with some assembly required with existing rockets.

Nah....it was all you. There is literally no way to reasonably interpret the part you quoted as meaning that SpaceX wasn't cheaper than government projects. Just take the L.

it’s actually part of the Artemis roadmap.

A huge part of it is building Gateway, a space station around the moon that will supply lunar landings and for launches to Mars.

While I admit I didn’t read some of the earlier posts…

You made it sound like Starship funds all came from tax money or government loans. SpaceX generates revenue, if that’s what you call funding.

Whatevs.
