A lot of people may disagree but I'm not taking a girl anywhere near Bourbon on a first, second, or even third date. If she is of drinking age and from the state of LA shes probably seen it and doesnt need to smell puke again. I would take her somewhere memorable, different, like a mini field trip. USS KIDD or Planetarium. If you decide to follow up with a bar, go somewhere you can talk but not super fancy. Why spend $$$ on The Sazerac when you can have the same conversation at BBG?
