Just checking back with this thread for some new books. Wanted to make sure everyone knew the Mitch Rapp series will continue.
The next book is due out in October and was started by Flynn. There are supposed to be two more after that in the pipeline. Originally I read it was his personal editor that was talked into it. Not sure if that ws really true...the new author is Kyle Mills and he did not know Flynn well.
I also highly recommend Term Limits by Flynn. It was his first book and you'll recognize some characters if you read the Rapp series.

Alex Hawke series by Ted Bell
This would be my suggestion as well.
Also, OP, if you like the Cotton Malone and Sigma series then you might also try the Nina and Eddie Chase series written by Andy McDermott.

I'll throw out the Event Group novels by David Lynn Golemon. It's a top secret government group that deals with major events that would effect the world.
I've only read the first two so I can't honestly say I like the whole series yet, but I liked the two I've read so far.

This series is great as well. If you likes the first two then you'll enjoy the rest. It keeps getting better as you get deeper in to them.

I've started on those too. Been alternating between the Event Group and that. Both have been good so far.

The Aubrey-Maturin series. Patrick O'Brian
Starts with Master and Commander.
Greatest historical fiction ever written.
Nothing else is even close.
Treat yourself.
